In order to support more detailed invoice classifications, the Glue Up platform now allows admin users to create Custom Invoice Categories. This enables our customers to organize invoices more easily for taxation purposes. In the Invoices & Billing section of the Other Settings you can now add numerous Custom Invoice Categories. The Custom Invoice Categories can be edited or made inactive from here as well. Simply select the pencil icon next to the Custom Invoice Category to edit.

Then when creating a Custom Invoice the Custom Invoice Categories you configured  will show up on the drop down list under First Item. Selecting the invoice category here will help you to easily categorize different types of invoices on the Invoice List.

On the Invoice list under the Origin column you can easily see the Custom Invoice Category.

You can filter by Custom Invoice Category as well and save your filter as a Smart List if you so choose. The Custom Invoice Categories can also be exported to an excel file for review. Simply select the Export button to export your invoice list.
