Introduction    

 

This article explains how to use the advanced settings for chapter inclusion section of the membership on our platform. This feature allows you to adjust the minimum and maximum number of chapters that members can select during the application process. You can configure these options in the Membership Types Settings.

 

How it works

 

You can set the minimum and maximum number of chapters that members can select by entering the values in the corresponding fields. The system will then enforce or urge the end members to select the appropriate number of chapters based on your settings.

For example, if you set the minimum and maximum number of chapters to X, the system will enforce the end members to select exactly X chapters. This can help you generate more revenue for your organization.

If you set the minimum number of chapters to X and the maximum number of chapters to Y, where X < Y, the system will urge the end members to select more than X chapters, but less than Y. If the end members try to select more than Y chapters, the system will display a block modal to prevent them from doing so.

The system recognizes the settings you made and kindly guides the end members through the application process.

 

Additional notes

 

  • The system does not support leaving the fields empty. You must enter a valid number in both fields.
  • The minimum number of chapters can never be 0. You must enter a positive number in the minimum field.
  • The system will display error modals if the end members:
    • select too few chapters;
    • want to select more than the suggested number of chapters;
    • do not select any chapter;
    • do not select a primary chapter.
