Follow these steps to enable free ticket registration for your event:

Step 1: Open Event and click on “Registration options.“

Log in to your Glue Up account and navigate to the event you want to configure for free ticket registration.
In the event settings, click on “Registration options.”

Step 2: Enable quick registration for free events.

In the “Registration options” section, you’ll find the option to “Enable quick registration for free events.” Check this option to activate free ticket registration for your event.

How Free Ticket Registration Works

Once you’ve enabled free ticket registration, here’s how it works:

When “Enable quick registration for free events” is checked:

  • If there’s only 1 free ticket available, during public registration, attendees will bypass the ‘select package’ step. This means that when there’s a single free ticket, attendees won’t need to select a package, making the registration process faster and more straightforward.
  • If there are multiple free tickets available, the existing workflow will be retained, and attendees will still have the option to choose a package during public registration.

When “Enable quick registration for free events” is unchecked:

  • If you uncheck the option, the existing workflow will remain in place, allowing attendees to select a package during public registration, regardless of the number of free tickets available.

Additional Recommendations
It’s recommended to keep the “Enable quick registration for free events” option unchecked for free events that involve add-on purchases or open session tickets. This ensures the best user experience and allows attendees to choose packages or additional items as needed.

If the option is checked, the workflow will be different also based on the following settings/conditions:

  • If “Require attendee information for each ticket” is enabled
