API Access Add-on

API Integration refers to the seamless connectivity that allows organizations to automate business processes and enhance the sharing and embedding of data between numerous applications and systems. Glue Up API Access allows you to use our open APIs (Application Programming Interface) to share content posted on the Glue Up platform onto your website. For Example, once you publish an event on the Glue Up platform, the event information will be reflected directly on your website as well.

Please note that to utilize the API Access Add-on you must first have a subdomain for your Glue Up account.

Go to Plans & Allowances within the Account Settings to review information on your current Glue Up plan. If you would like to discuss your current allowances, please feel free to reach out to your Customer Success Liaison.

Note: Unlike the free website widgets the API Access add-on allows you further customization in terms of design and segmentation of information at an additional cost.

Transport Layer Security Updates

In March of 2021 the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) deprecated support for TLS1.0&1.1.

As of Q3 2021, most major browsers have disabled support for Transport Layer Security (TLS1.0 & TLS1.1). Please note that Glue Up will no longer support TLS1.0 & TLS1.1 effective October 26th, 2021.

Glue Up will be supporting TLS1.2/TLS1.3. All those who are using TLS protocols to access API or any part of our application are advised to change to TLS1.2/TLS1.3.

Normal end users will not be impacted by this change.

Please work with your technical resources who assisted with the API integration to ensure that you have the right TLS settings. If you have further questions, please feel free to reach out to support@glueup.com.
